- Where a page ranks a hotel area, restaurant or day trip.
- Whether something appears on the site at all.
No company pays for placement, a rating, or a mention. Recommendations come from first-hand travel and are dated so you can see how fresh they are.
Facts vs. opinions
Prices, schedules, visa rules and other hard facts are checked against official or primary sources and carry a “checked” date. Where a detail changes often — visa policy especially — the page links the official source and says to confirm it there.
